Zur Hausmesse CA World 2010 erfolgte eine weitere Namensänderung in CA Technologies. Im Jahr 1992 kaufte Computer Associates die Firma Nantucket, den Anbieter der weit verbreiteten Datenbanksprache Clipper, konnte jedoch nach 1995 mit der Nachfolgesprache Visual Objects nicht an den Erfolg von Clipper anknüpfen.

Das Unternehmen erzielte im Geschäftsjahr 2011 (es endete am 31. März) einen Umsatz von 4,43 Mrd. US-Dollar und hatte zum Stichtag weltweit 13.800 Beschäftigte, davon ca. 510 in Deutschland und ca. 60 in Österreich. Aktuell betreuen die Mitarbeiter Kunden in über 140 Ländern.

Größter Einzelaktionär ist die Schweizer Careal Holding.
