1850 und 1851[Quelltext bearbeiten]

Folgende Quellen sagen etwas dazu aus:

  • [1]: "'I am younger today at 43': [...] Kate Chopin was actually 44 — but there seems to have been much about her birthdate. Her tombstone says 1851, but her baptismal record and the 1850 census say 1850."
  • [2]: "(Many sources still say 1851, but her baptismal certificate and the US Census show 1850 as the undoubted date.)"
  • [3]: "Date on Chopin's tombstone: Most sources record her birthdate as 1851, but that is wrong. Her baptismal certificate and the 1850 US Census both show that she was born in 1850."
  • [4]: "Biographer Emily Toth has convincingly argued that Catherine O'Flaherty was born on February 8, 1850, not 1851, as previous biographers believed."

Da ich keine widersprechende Quellen gefunden haben, die über beide Daten handeln, habe ich im Artikel "1851" mit "1850" ersetzt. NightBeAsT 23:02, 26. Jun. 2008 (CEST)[Beantworten]
