Please, take a look at Xu Yuhua's best ELO rating: [1]. As I know, her best ELO rating is 2517, not 2545 (01.10.2000=2507, but Ihre bisher beste Elo-Zahl von 2545 erreichte sie im Oktober 2000). But, maybe I am wrong... Best wishes, pjahr 10:28, 5. Sep 2006 (CEST)

Ho pjahr, it was the best „historische Elo-Zahl“, which are a bit different to the real „past“ Elo ratings. I now updated the artikel... regards --JuTa Talk 12:42, 5. Sep 2006 (CEST)

Well, I suppose that calculations of Jeff Sonas are not official and not have a seriously usage in real chess world, so - in my opinion - that information is a little misguided... pjahr 14:01, 5. Sep 2006 (CEST)

I wouldn't call it "real chess world" but contemporary chess world. The historical ratings make sense if you use them for historical masters, not for today playing masters. Maybe we can convince Jutta? Miastko 14:11, 5. Sep 2006 (CEST)

Yes, I agree, "contemporary" is a better word. Historical ratings are not used in tournaments and are not known by the generality of chessplayers. So - encyclopedicly that information is useless. As I said before, that is only my opinion and please, dont't take it personally. I really dont' mean to marshal your chess articles, because they are the best of all Wikipedias. You dont have to convince me, I agree :) Feel free to change the artikel. The only little disadvantage might be that (as far as I know) the FIDE shows only "some" years in the past. But for actual players the FIDE values are better than the Chessmetrics values. Again: feel free to modify the artikel(s), I will not shoot agianst it. -) --JuTa Talk 20:21, 5. Sep 2006 (CEST)
