Der Lok-Sabha-Wahlkreis Bijapur ist ein Wahlkreis bei den Wahlen zur Lok Sabha, dem Unterhaus des indischen Parlaments. Er liegt im Bundesstaat Karnataka und umfasst den Distrikt Vijayapura (Bijapur).
Der Wahlkreis ist für Kandidaten aus unteren Kasten (Scheduled Castes) reserviert. Bei der letzten Wahl zur Lok Sabha waren 1.622.635 Einwohner wahlberechtigt.[1]

Wahlkreisgeschichte[Bearbeiten | Quelltext bearbeiten]
Der Wahlkreis Bijapur besteht seit der Lok-Sabha-Wahl 1967. Vorgängerwahlkreis war der Wahlkreis Bijapur North. Bis 1973 gehörte der Wahlkreis zum Bundesstaat Mysore, ehe dieser in Karnataka umbenannt wurde.
