Bergrennen Consuma 1963
Das Bergrennen Consuma, auch Coppa della Consuma, war ein Bergrennen, das am 2. Juni 1963 ausgefahren wurde. Gleichzeitig war das Rennen der achte Wertungslauf zur Sportwagen-Weltmeisterschaft dieses Jahres.
Das Rennen
[Bearbeiten | Quelltext bearbeiten]Das Rennen auf den Passo della Consuma war das erste Bergrennen, das den Status eines Sportwagen-Weltmeisterschafts-Laufes erhielt. Zur Europa-Bergmeisterschaft zählte das Rennen nicht. Die Strecke war 12,5 Kilometer lang und musste einmal im Renntempo durchfahren werden. Am Renntag versammelten sich 80.000 Zuschauer entlang der Passstraße und erlebten einen deutlichen Sieg von Eduardo Lualdi im Ferrari Dino 196SP, der nach sieben Minuten Fahrzeit einen Vorsprung von knapp 14 Sekunden auf den Abarth-Simca 1300 Bialbero von Mauro Bianchi, und Hans Herrmann, der einen Abarth 2000 steuerte, herausfuhr. Im Klassement erreichten Bruno Derserti und Odoardo Govoni auf Formel-Junior-Monoposti ex aequo den zweiten Rang, wurden für die Weltmeisterschaft jedoch nicht gewertet.
