Diese Seite ist die Dokumentations-Unterseite der Vorlage:Infobox Ort im Vereinigten Königreich.
Diese Vorlage (basierend auf dem englischsprachigen Original) erzeugt eine Infobox für Orte im Vereinigten Königreich. Sie kann für alle Landesteile und die Isle of Man verwendet werden. Einige hier beschriebenen Eingabemöglichkeiten sind noch nicht voll implementiert. Die wichtigsten Funktionen sind umgesetzt.
Die Vorlage kann aus dem jeweiligen Artikel der englischen Wikipedia nahezu unverändert kopiert werden. Hierbei sind
- Name der Vorlage zu ändern
- Tausenderkomma bei der Einwohnerzahl zu entfernen
- ggf. Meilen in Kilometer zu konvertieren
- Lemmata von Gemeinden (parishes) und anderen Verwaltungseinheiten sowie die Wahlkreislemmata anzupassen (vor allem Klammererweiterungen)
