Vorlage:AFC submission Vorlage:Infobox software MicroG is a free and open-source implementation of proprietary Google libraries that serves as a replacement for Google Play Services on Android.Vorlage:Refn It is maintained by German developer Marvin Wißfeld.[1] There is an unofficial fork of the LineageOS Android distribution that comes with MicroG pre-installed.[2][3] It can also be installed with other Android (operating system) ROMs (Custom firmware).[4] While it continues to be a work in progress, several components have been functional for years.[5][6][7][8] Refurbished phones have been sold with MicroG pre-installed.[9][10] Some users have reported being offered money to return to Google Services,[11][12] and it has been considered as a way around Google's Huawei ban.[13][14]
