Wikipedia is not a source[Quelltext bearbeiten]
Hi Poulit,
please quote references like obituaries, books etc. for your changes in articles regarding biographical data (birthplaces, day of death, ...). The French Wikipedia is not a source for changes in other Wikipedias, see en:Wikipedia:Verifiability#Wikipedia and sources that mirror or use it (the same rule applies to the German Wikiepdia). --Andibrunt 11:00, 23. I added all the references to the French wiki for the changes I've made, so I thought as long as one wiki had the reference that would be enough. Besides I'm not familiar enough with German to translate all my French sources and most German articles about French artists are translations from the French wiki without any reference in German. Can I add the French references as they are given to the German wiki ?Poulit 12:08, 23. Jul. 2010 (CEST)
- Of course you can. Sources can be given in any language. It may be enough to mention that sources are listed in the corresponding French article - but please remind that we use en:Wikipedia:Flagged revisions on all our articles, thus others have to check your edits. --Andibrunt 12:17, 23. Nous avons organisé un Edit-A-Thon, qui aura lieu dans le cadre de la Foire du Livre de Francfort. La France est au centre de la Foire du Livre de Francfort cette année (Gastland). Nous organisons la rédaction et la traduction d'articles sur les auteurs entre Wikipédia germanophone et francophone.
Les frais de transport et d'hébergement sont pris en charge par WMDE. La Foire du Livre aura lieu du 11 au 15 octobre (deux jours de participation minimum)

Wir haben ein Edit-A-Thon organisiert, das im Rahmen der Frankfurter Buchmesse stattfinden wird. Frankreich steht im Mittelpunkt der diesjährigen Frankfurter Buchmesse (Gastland). Wir organisieren das Verfassen und Übersetzen von Artikeln über Autoren Und Literaturthemen zwischen der deutsch- und französischsprachigen Wikipedia.
Die Kosten für An/Abreise und Unterkunft trägt WMDE. Die Buchmesse findet vom 11. bis 15. Oktober statt. Mindestdauer für Teilnahme (wenn Anreise und Hotel organisiert via WMDE) ist zwei Tage.
