Die Angaben folgen der Nachbemerkung Hackls zu seinem Roman, sind aber zum Teil falsch. Ich werde versuchen, das in Kürze zu korrigieren. Mbdortmund 18:04, 26. Aug 2006 (CEST)--

Sorry but i do't speak german, i'm working on hidegart's family for the galician wikipedia and i want to provide you a few facts; her birth certificate and her baptiism act says: Hildegart Leocadia Georgina Hermenegilda Maria del Pilar Rodriguez Carballeira, but he only used her first name. The name Carmen was a mistake by a journalist who thought that hildegart was a fake.

Emilio Juanatey (you can find me in galician wikipedia, search for Hildegart, her mother or cousin Pepito Arriola)

Many thanks for your interesting information. At the moment I'm writing an article on a German novel named "[Auroras Anlaß]" (Il caso Aurora). The author, Erich Hackl, gives the information, that he used the following documents for his novel:

- Hildegarts Articles in newspapers, most from "El Socialista" and "La Tierra" between Mai 1929 an June 1933

- Hildegarts 13 books

- Eduardo de Guzmán, "Mi hija Hildegart", 1977 (I could only find this title concerning the film about Aurora, perhaps Hackls information is wrong; what do you think?)

- Madrid Newspapers from Mai 1934 ("El Sol"; "Heraldo de Madrid"; "La Tierra") concerning the trial against Aurora ________________

Questions:

- galician wikipedia != spanish wikipedia? - is peito the right name of the cousin?

Thank you for your help Mbdortmund 15:53, 28. Aug 2006 (CEST)--

Galician is a language closely related to portugues (most linguists say it's the same) Galipedia is galician wikipedia, in wich i'm starting this story. Right now I'm collecting materials, most of them reading a book about hildegart's mother. i came to the story through people who heard it from their relatives (I live in Ferrol, about 200m from hildegart's mother home) By now i'm very busy, but as soon as i can i'll make the full article, translate it to english and let you know. Ask me whatever you need, i'll be glad to answer:

Eduardo de guzman interviewed aurora rodriguez in jail before an after the trail, there's where he got his information, most of it is true, but Aurora told him a few lies and by the time of the interview was deeply disturbed (some say she had paranoia). The Fernando Fernán Gómez's film is based on his book.

about Pepito Arriola (Pepito is familiar for José - like Joe in english, peito is misspelling) the article about him in the english wikipedia is correct as far as i know, but i still don't have a book about him, hope I'll get it soon!

All the information about this cases comes from the same sources (I've checked lots of places, mainly encyclopedias) until Rosa Cal published her book in 1991 and fixed some errors.

there's other common lie, Aurora always said that Hildegart meant "Garden of wisdom" in german. I couldn't find this meaning, the closest i got is "Hard fight" Am i right? thank you Emilio Juanatey

Hi Emilio, at first some information about the name 'Hildegart', which is a misspelled form of "Hildegard":

- [ttp://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hildegard] - [1]

hiltja = althochdeutsch (oldgerman) for 'fight' gard = althochdeutsch für protection

"In der Gesamtheit könnte man den Namen als rettende, beschirmende Heldenjungfrau deuten." ~ heroic virgin, which gives shelter during a fight

Can you please give the adress of the galician wikipedia? I found some articles in the spanish Wikipedia giving as source the galician Wikipaedi, but no adress.

Perhaps you like this two pictures of Pepito Arriola: [2]

thank u for the information on the name, I've already included it in the article: Hildegart in galician wikipedia

The pictures are great, it's a shame that all the pictures i've found are without indication of authorship, maybe some of them are in public domain.
