The English page (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Namaqua_sandgrouse) describes that for sand grouses the "principal diet is seeds but they also eat leaves, flowers, small fruit, insects and molluscs". About the same is stated on the italian version. In contrast the German page states: "Die einzige Nahrung dieser Vögel besteht aus Pflanzensamen."
