- Danke für den Hinweis, Jesaja 34, 1-7 ist definitv falsch. Ich kann mich aber leider nicht mehr erinnern, woher ich die Quelle habe. Es handelt sich, wie es auch im Text steht, nicht um ein wörtliches Zitat, sondern bezieht sich auf diverse Stellen bei Jeremia (und Jesaia).
- Jer 50:39 "So the desert creatures and hyenas will live there and ostriches will dwell there. It will never again be inhabited or settled from generation to generation."
- Is 34:13 "Her towers will be overgrown with thorns, her fortresses with thistles and briers. She will become a haunt for jackals, an abode for ostriches."
- Is 25:2 "Indeed, You have turned the city into a heap of rubble, a fortified town into ruins; the fortress of strangers is a city no more; it will never be rebuilt."
- Is 32:13 "and for the land of my people, overgrown with thorns and briers--even for every house of merriment in this city of revelry."
- Is 32:14 "For the palace will be forsaken, the busy city abandoned. The hill and the watchtower will become caves forever--the delight of wild donkeys and a pasture for flocks"
- Welche Bibelübersetzung Sophie Fiennes benutzt hat (da gibt es ja diverse, siehe [1]), das weiß leider auch nicht.
