Diskussion:Pjotr Illarionowitsch Schelochonow
Folgende Sätze habe ich ersteinmal auskommentiert, da sie nicht verständlich waren:
- Im Zweiten Weltkrieg, die den 11-jährigen Pjotr Schelochonow bei diesem Bauern unterbringen sollte. Von seiner Schwester erfuhr er nach dem Kriege vom Tod der Mutter.

- Dear Lewa, thank you for attention to the article about my late father. I am currently editing his Ehglish article, based on his letters to me, (I live in LA, CA), his Russian biography, his professional files from Lenfilm Studios and three theatre companies in St. Petersburg, and piles of photos which I made over years in Russia. Our current goal is to make English and Russian articles like twins, eventually doing the same in languages that I do not speak - German, Spanish, Italian, Polish and Ukrainian with the help from people. His surviving cousin (2nd cousin or Троюродная сестра) still lived in Vilnius, Latvia, as of last year). I do not know German words for Троюродная сестра, so my effort in German is very limited. I wanted to say that he was 11 when the war destroyed his home, he was wounded in the face, and his "Троюродная сестра" told him that mother did not survive and they could not find her body to make a traditional burial. I do not use Russian keybord here in LA, albeit my sister, her son and friends in St. Petersburg contributed some edits and updates in Russian. Thanks for updating captions to my photos, albeit I still do not understand German warnings in red on my photo pages, I gave my photos to public domain, is there still any problem? - OK, probably I'll simply translate some of the biographical information in the English or Russian version. Проблема с фотографиями заключается в том, что ты их загрузил как filman2, но как автора указал Steve Shelokhonov. А если "загрузчик" и фотограф разные люди, то требуется послать разрешение автора на центральный архив разрешений (по адресу permissions-de@wikimedia.org). Проще всего наверно будет, если ты еще раз войдёшь в систему как filman2 и в строку автора напишешь filman2 (Steve Shelokhonov). А вообще, гораздо удобнее загрузить картинки на commons тогда они сразу доступны для всех языковых разделов, а перезагрузить их уже не нужно. Gruß, --Lewa 12:24, 6. Jul. 2007 (CEST)

You are right about the photos, I uploaded photo-files from my Applebook (that is my Filman2) at my Applecare class, just started learning all the new toys, like a kid, so your advise is helpful. I have my father's quotations, both translated from his speech in Russian, and I'd like to ask your opinion. The first one he said after visiting Berlin (both East and West) in 1989, after my first visit there, he was impressed with the West Berlin and said: "Victory is not about winning wars, and destroying enemies, its about ending wars in your head." he said this to his friend actor Kirill Lavrov in the presence of others, and I was proud of my Papa. His other quotation: "Small minds talk about people, average minds talk about events, great minds talk about ideas, a genius doesn't need to talk." he said this to his fellow actors after he worked with Peter Ustinov, who was a genius. Petr Shelokhonov started with a partial paraphrase of Eleanore Roosevelt's famous quote, albeit his original ending has a more general and deep meaning, so I posted it on IMDb. What do you think? Ich abe etwas Deutsch in der Schule erlente, aber ich spreche English besseres. So I made a first effort translating the English article to Deutsch, using Sherlock translation and adding some of my own corrections. My Deutsch leaves much to be desired, so any help from fellow Wikipedians is highly appreciated.

Correct title for this person is Verdienter Schauspieler der Russischen SFSR (Заслуженный артист РСФСР)
Kunstler - NOT correct. "Kunstler" is a different title, not related to acting profession. Stage and film actors in Russian and the Soviet Union were given "Kunstler" title very rarely when they were a writer and a director at the same time, like Vasily Shukshin. - No, it*s not like that. Заслуженный артист = Verdienter Künstler. This title was also given to ballet dancers, etc. Shukshin was Заслуженный деятель искусств = Verdienter Kunstschaffender.Dsds55 (Diskussion) 17:25, 10. Apr. 2013 (CEST)
- Wenn man Заслуженный артист und Заслуженный художник zur Auswahl hat, was als "Verdienter Künstler" zu übersetzen ist, dann imho Letzteres. "артист" hat mehrere/viele Bedeutungen, aber im Theater/Kino ist es dasselbe wie "актёр" = Schauspieler, und Schelochonow war selbiges. - Okay, zur Unterscheidung wäre dann aber notwendig Verdienster Künstler (Sasluschenny artist) vs. Verdienster Künstler (Sasluschenny chudoschnik) oder aber, wie im Volkskünstlerartikel relativ treffend nahegelegt, Verdienter darstellender Künstler oder Verdienter darstellender Künstler, obwohl das ziemlich sperrig ist. (Und ich frage mich, was würden wohl Performancekünstler werden, bei denen die Unterscheidung manchmal schwerfällt, wenn solche es mal in Russland zu offizieller Anerkennung schaffen sollten? LOST IN TRANSLATION is the main difference : an ACTOR's performances people watch live on stage and recorded in film, but a PAINTER, or SCULPTOR almost always works in a studio away from public eyes.

- Seems, you don't fully understand the problem. For example, Мария Максакова was an Заслуженный артист, too (later Народная артистка), but she wasn't an actor at all. Заслуженный артист was given *not only* to actors but also to other *performing* artists, and the latter aren't called "Schauspieler" in German. "Schauspieler" is the translation of актёр (Dsds55 above is right) but not of артист. --AMGA (d) 08:55, 11. Apr. 2013 (CEST)
