endosporös[Quelltext bearbeiten]

Hallo zusammen,

A layer of electron-dense material which is continuous with the stalk surrounds the mature spore.

Raymond W. Scheetz (1972) "The Ultrastructure of Ceratiomyxa fruticulosa" - Summary

Gilbert (1935) compared the exospore on its stalk to a stalked fruiting body of an endosporous species, homologizing the pillar-shaped matrix on which the stalked spores are borne with the hypothallus of an endosporous species.

Rojas & Stephenson (2021) "Myxomycetes 2nd Edition" - S. 277

Ceratiomyxa has fruiting bodies (the structures originally called exospores) of the same size as most of the protostelids.

Rojas & Stephenson (2021) "Myxomycetes 2nd Edition" - S. 278

The plasmodium matures in the wood and comes to the surface only to develop its fruiting structure. As the plasmodium emerges from the wood, it forms small papillae. From these papillae the various types of pillars arise according to the form that is developing. As the pillar grows, a matrix of gelatinous consistency is secreted, form- ing the body of the pillar. The protoplasm forms a thin surface layer over this central matrix when the pillar is fully formed. A division of the nuclei then occurs, followed immediately by cleavage of the protoplasm into uninucle- ate segments. These segments are the protospores. Next the protospores are elevated on slender stalks and become the spores. The nucleus of each spore divides twice to form a four-nucleate mature spore. Synapsis and meiosis occur in the spore.

Gilbert (1935) "Critical Events in the Life History of Ceratiomyxa" - S.54f.

Ich freue mich auf Rückmeldungen!

Hallo zusammen,
da kein Widerspruch kam, werde ich demnächst die oben genannten Informationen in den Artikel einbauen.
