Klar, das Dorf. Die Frage ist nur, ob es nicht vielleicht korrekt Усть-Щугёр heißt, damit auf nach WP:NKK deutsch Ust-Schtschugjor (s.a. en: da zumindest o). Das ё wird ja oft durch е ersetzt, aber hier ist es komplizierter: Diskussionen im russischen Web legen nahe, dass hier die Betonung auf dem U liegt, was im Russischen völlig unüblich ist, aber die Namensherkunft ist wohl auch nicht russisch (zB hier: "Называют местные в основном ЩУгор, а не ЩугОр или ЩУгер." = "Die Einheimischen nennen ihn [den Fluss] hauptsächlich Schtschúgor, und nicht Schtschugór Schtschúger"). Auf Karten, bsd. älteren, heißt es jedenfalls Усть-Щугор, und auch der zugehörige Fluss Щугор, also eindeutig Schtschugor. Ansonsten wird es aber immer so wie jetzt im Artikel zu sehen geschrieben (OKATO, PLZ-Verzeichnis usw.). Einerseits bedeutet das nicht, auch da werden die ё weggelassen, andererseits wollen wir ja keine TF betreiben... -- SibFreak 08:49, 5. Jan. 2010 (CET)

Confusion

Please note that the supplied coordinates (which are also mentioned by the ASU link) point to a location in Sverdlovsk Oblast, not in the Komi Republic. Hm, no. Maybe, you (or somebody) mixed up longitude and latitude? The northernmost point of Sverdlovsk oblast is about 62 N. BTW, the mentiones by ASU 57°45'E 64°15'N are not fully correct: that's a point amidst the taiga some 7 km east-southeast from the village (see Google Earth etc. and soviet 1:100.000 scale topographic map Q-40-139,140), while the meteorological station is most likely in or near the village. Moreover, 85 m above sea level is mentioned: that's more or less true for the village while the point mentioned by ASU ist somewhat 120...130 m above sea level (see map). -- SibFreak 00:22, 6.
