Action (Programmiersprache)
Action (auch: Action!) ist eine Programmiersprache und ein Compiler für ATARI-8-bit-Computer, die 1983 von Clinton W. Parker für Optimized Systems Software zunächst auf Cartridge entwickelt wurde.
Action ist die schnellste Compilersprache für die ATARI 8-bit Serie (Atari 400/800, XL-Serie, XE-Serie) und erzeugt als 1-Pass Compiler echten 6502-Code. Die Sprache enthält Sprachelemente von C, Algol 68 und Pascal.
