I was born in Stuttgart, I studied in Tübingen and Durham and live in Berlin. I hold a Ph.D. in Geography and I contribute to geographical and geoscientific phenomena as well as to places and cities, in central Europa and elsewhere in the world. I earn a (modest) living as Secretary for GeoUnion Alfred-Wegener-Stiftung, the roof organisation for institutions and associations in Geosciences in Germany.
I love (and practice) classical music – and write about it occasionally (works, composers, artists, performances).
