Erfolg

Hill erhielt 2001 für die Platte einen Grammy als bestes Country-Album des Jahres. Breathe ist eines der erfolgreichsten Country-Alben aller Zeiten und hat sich allein in den USA mehr als acht Millionen Mal verkauft. Breathe belegte Platz eins der amerikanischen Country-Alben-Charts und debütierte als erstes Album eines Country-Künstlers auf Platz eins in den Billboard-Album-Charts.
