Douglas Rayner Hartree
Douglas Rayner Hartree (* 27. März 1897 in Cambridge, England; † 12. Februar 1958 ebenda) war ein englischer Mathematiker und Physiker. Am bedeutendsten waren seine Arbeiten in der numerischen Analysis mit Anwendungen in der Atomphysik.
1929 wurde er Professor in Manchester und 1946 in Cambridge.
