Microstocks[Bearbeiten | Quelltext bearbeiten]

Als Microstocks werden Bildagenturen und Portale bezeichnet, bei welchen der Kunde Royalty-Free Bildmaterial sofort online - nach Bezahlung mit Kreditkarte oder PayPal - das gewünschte Bild direkt herunterladen kann. Dabei unterbieten die Microstocks preislich Ihre grossen "Konkurrenten" meist deutlich.

Hierbei ist aber nicht zu vergessen, daß viele Microstocks tatsächlich Töchter oder Schwestern der grossen Agenturen sind, mit welchen die grossen versuchen Ihre Marktreichweite zu erhöhen. Viele Microstocks überleben nur, weil Ihre "Eltern" diese Verluste tragen, denn niemand wird ernsthaft glauben, daß sich professionelle Bilder für 1$ produzieren lassen.
