About Istanbul rail transport map

Hello! I have some comments and error reports for

, first of all thank you so much for creating this awesome map!

1- In metrobus, the municipality has been removed all bus route numbers such as 34AS, for a while only the terminal station is shown on busses. So, you may consider to replace Metrobus line numbers with only "Metrobus" text. Also you may remove the Vatan station, because it's not present for at least 7 years. 2- In Marmaray, Sirkeci station point is not on line itself, it's a little bit offset. 3- In Istanbul, every rail transport line has a unique colour. This color presents on info plates and similiar places in stations. If you may change line colours with these ones, the map would be more useful.

4- And also, MASKO and Bahariye stations on M9 line had been opened and after that Ziya Gökalp Mahallesi and Olimpiyat stations has been transferred from M3 to M9 line.

Karte Stadtbahn Stuttgart

Hallo Chumwa, ich bin's mal wieder. Auf der Karte der Stadtbahn Stuttgart fehlt die Verlängerung der U6 zum Flughafen und falls es der Rede Wert ist, die U13 und U16 verkehren derzeit nicht auf dem Streckenabschnitt über die Rosensteinbrücke. Rio de Janeiro Transit Maps

Hello Chumwa, I have a number of fixes for your (awesome!) Rio de Janeiro Transit Map. Some of them also apply to the VLT map.

  • VLT:
    • There is a new branch under construction branching off from Rodoviária station to the position marked on BRT Transbrasil as "Gasômetro", it will be called Terminal Intermodal Gentileza or Gentileza for short. It is not clear whether the branch from Praia Formosa to Rodoviária will be in operation after this new branch opens, or whether the branch until São Diogo will ever be constructed.
    • Parada dos Navios stop (L1) is called Parada dos Navios / Valongo
    • Praça XV stop (L2) position should be closer to the ferry, it really stops next to the water. If you want to check a video with the correct position, please use this video I linked below.
    • Rio Branco stop (L2) is called Colombo
    • Praça Tiradentes stop (L2) is called Tiradentes
    • Central do Brasil stop (L2/L3) is called Central
    • Santa Rita stop (L3) is called Santa Rita / Pretos Novos
    • Camerino stop (L3) is called Camerino / Rosas Negras
    • Itamaraty stop was cancelled (never built) but they created another stop in closer place to replace it. The new stop is called Cristiano Ottoni / Pequena África and it is in that small segment going NW right before turning left to Central do Brasil, i.e. left to the "I" and Itamaraty on the map.
  • BRT:
    • Transbrasil will be constructed only until Gasômetro, now called Terminal Intermodal Gentileza or Gentileza for short. So you can remove from the map all the section between Gasômetro and Candelária (it has been cancelled for good).
    • I will double check all BRT station names at a second moment.
  • MetrôRio:
    • Presidente Vargas station is now called Saara / Presidente Vargas
    • Nova América / Del Castilho station is now called only Del Castilho (naming rights contract has been finished)
    • All stations on neighborhoods that have names different than the neighborhood name (except Saara / Presidente Vargas) gained suffixes with the neighborhood name. The complete list is:
      • Uruguai is now Uruguai / Tijuca
      • Saens Peña is now Saens Peña / Tijuca
      • São Francisco Xavier is now São Francisco Xavier / Tijuca
      • Afonso Pena is now Afonso Pena / Tijuca
      • Central is now Central do Brasil / Centro
      • Uruguaiana is now Uruguaiana / Centro
      • Carioca is now Carioca / Centro
      • Cinelândia is now Cinelândia / Centro
      • Cardeal Arcoverde is now Cardeal Arcoverde / Copacabana
      • Siqueira Campos is now Siqueira Campos / Copacabana
      • Cantagalo is now Cantagalo / Copacabana
      • General Osório is now General Osório / Ipanema
      • Nossa Senhora da Paz is now Nossa Senhora da Paz / Ipanema
      • Jardim de Alah is now Jardim de Alah / Leblon
      • Antero de Quental is now Antero de Quental / Leblon
      • Jardim Oceânico is now Jardim Oceânico / Barra da Tijuca
  • SuperVia:
    • Serviço Circular Honório - Deodoro is gone.
  • Santa Teresa Tram:
    • The way has been reconstructed and it is currently operating all the way until Dois Irmãos.
    • Francisco Muratori branch is operated eventually (in theory every day at 8h, in reality only when someone at Carioca demands to go there).
    • Carioca station official name is Motorneiro Nelson Correia da Silva.
  • Express Buses fixes:
    • Barra Expresso 525 and Barra Expresso 614 are gone.
    • There are two lines in operation: Botafogo / Coca-Cola - Gávea and Antero de Quental / Leblon - Gávea.
  • Teleféricos fixes:
    • Teleférico da Rocinha is cancelled for good.
  • Legend:
    • On the legend subtitles / groups, where it reads Plano Inclinado it should read Planos Inclinados (plural). Or you could use Planos Inclinados - Funiculars

Regarding BRT: The city hall took over BRT Rio company and is now operating the system themselves, with that change it has been renamed to MOBI-Rio Their new website is https://mobi-rio.rio.br/.
They don't seem to have an updated map / diagram, only a stations list, but you can double check on the old BRT Rio map, which you can find a backup here: https://pt.map-of-rio-de-janeiro.com/%C3%94nibus-mapas/brt-do-rio-de-janeiro-mapa#&gid=1&pid=1
BRT station name fixes:
  • Starting on TransOeste, from east to west:
    • Cittá America is called Bosque Marapendi
    • Porto dos Cabritos is Paulo Malta Rezende
    • Freeway is Afrânio Costa (Teatro Nathalia Timberg)
    • Riveira is Riviera
    • Av. das Américas is BarraShopping
    • Glaucio Gil is Gláucio Gil
    • Benvindo Novaes is Benvindo de Novaes
    • CTEx is CTEx.
  • Now TransCarioca, from south to north:
    • Rio II is Rio 2
    • IPASE is Ipase
    • There's no stop Fundão, it goes straight to Terminal Fundão (Aroldo Melodia)
  • And then TransOlímpica, from south to north:
    • Catedral de Recreio is Catedral do Recreio
    • Morro de Outeiro is Morro do Outeiro
    • Colônia is Colônia (Museu Bispo do Rosário)
    • Padre João Chribbin is Padre João Cribbin
    • São José de Magalhães Bastos is correct, but the SuperVia train station name is only Magalhães Bastos
    • the segment between Vila Militar and Terminal Deodoro is currently under construction.

Just read that the MetrôRio and Coca-Cola finished the naming rights contract, so Botafogo station had the suffix removed. (Just edited my first comment removing the name change so you don't get confused.)

ich schreibe gemeinsam mit Überlebenden des Holocaust ein Buch zu deren Lebensgeschichten, das als junger Mensch mit 24 Jahren.


Ich würde gerne Ihre Karte des „Zigeunerlager“ verwenden, weil ich zwei Überlebende des Lagers in dem Buch einbinde.

Guten Abend Louis,
Chumwa ist hier schon länger nicht mehr aktiv, ich antworte deshalb mal für ihn.
Das Bild steht unter einer CC-Lizenz, die die Nachnutzung für jeden, auch im kommerziellen Rahmen, erlaubt, so lange die entsprechenden Lizenzbedingungen eingehalten werden. Es braucht dazu nicht die Zustimmung des Urhebers. Unter lizenzhinweisgenerator.de/ kann man in einfachen Schritten sich einen den Lizenzbestimmungen genügenden Hinweis bauen lassen, den man dann abdrucken kann. Dort gibt es auch weitere Tipps zur Nachnutzung, zur Platzierung des Hinweises usw.
