Willkommen / Welcome
[Quelltext bearbeiten]Apparently, you either don’t understand German, or understand it only at a basic level. This is a welcome message to introduce you to the German Wikipedia, with the most important places and departments you may want to consult.
- The embassy is perhaps the first place to go. There you can ask questions and get in touch with people who can translate your requests.
- The German equivalent of the “village pump” is Questions about Wikipedia which can be used to ask questions and discuss matters of all kinds about Wikipedia. Feel free to ask questions in your preferred language, but questions in English will probably get the quickest responses as opposed to those asked in less commonly spoken languages.
- Common requests: Request to usurp existing user accounts • Request a Bot flag.
- You are also welcome to participate in the multilingual Adopt-a-user program.
- For your user page: You might want to create your user page and put some babel boxes on it, so everyone knows what languages you speak. For example: “
{{Babel|en|de-0}}
” if you are a native English speaker, but speak no German at all.
How to help? One thing you could do is to improve this template (translate, fix errors, etc.), to help more contributors who do not speak German.
Once again, welcome! -- AntonMüllerMeier (Diskussion) 19:33, 4. Mai 2015 (CEST)

[Quelltext bearbeiten]Hallo Maxrossomachin!
- Hello! What the problem? Everyone can translate this on German (and other laguages) easily via online service. So if you, German wikipedists, are interested — do it! I am personally not interested in German version — I am just want to sharing useful image with my colleagues. Two month ago my picture was easily adopted in the same article without any warnings (look at "Panzerschutz" section). --Maxrossomachin (Diskussion) 19:44, 4. Mai 2015 (CEST)
- Hello Maxrossomachin!
- Two month ago I translated the figure caption (which was quick and easy), and the picture contained very little English text. This time, it contained a lot of text and we write here for readers using the german language.
- If you are not interested in providing the translation and just want to share the picture, I propose you put them on the talk page of the article. Then somebody with the knowledge and time can provide an translation.
- I found the tool you mentioned only today and probably I will use it. Apart from the language, I think your pictures are very helpful for the reader.
- Best Regards --Marinebanker (Diskussion) 20:35, 4. Mai 2015 (CEST)
