Band logo- not in use- wrong information about heritage and band names[Quelltext bearbeiten]

Hello, Dropped here from French version of the same page. I notice some errors on Dahlia's Tear page, tried to correct them but moderators suggested me to open a discussion page instead. I recommend to edit these things due to unreilable sources and informations : 1-Logo change : That black metal style like is not Dahlia's Tear Logo . (see www.dahliastear.net) Dahlia's Tear is not using that black-metal style logo since 2005 where he only used it only in debut album. 2-Heritage and wrong band names: As already written on official Dahlia's Tear page (dahliastear.net) see- interview section ; heritage and band names are not correct ; regarding the heritage of DT; metallyrica.com is not reliable source as well as metal band names , see interview with the composer. Hope it helps, regards (nicht signierter Beitrag von 78.177.52.136 (Diskussion) 23:48, 8. Dez. 2011 (CET)) [Beantworten]

Hi,
  1. Ok, you´re right, i gonna upload the new logo in the next days and put the current 2005-logo in the section of the history, but please dont just delete it from the article!
  2. There is no interview-section on dahliastear.net. I checked all sections! So please link the page here, if possible. And to the heritage and other bands: i found those informations on several pages, not just on metallyrica.com. Well, it could be, that every of those pages have wrong informations, but for me, this seems crazy. So please link the interview section here, or at least one interview, where Anile talks about his heritage and his (possible) former bands.
So, i really dont have a problem to revise/check and, if need, correct the article, but please dont just revert proofed information (even if the proof might be false). In such cases, try to search a reliable source and then correct stuff. The WP ist´n there for deciding between truth or untruth. A wiki-article should just sum up and present, what´s written in the media about this topic. Regards, --Trollhead 00:09, 9. Dez. 2011 (CET)[Beantworten]
Hey!

Yes, thank you , of course you are right, I am sorry to delete the words on the article, i just do not know the certain rules on the wikipedia. We do not have any proof about his ancestor, so instead of mentioning turkish? (It does not proof he played in turkish metal band, he also played in French bands as I remember Lethian Dreams ) I prefer saying just band formed in "Stockholm, Sweden". I do have magazine print about his swedish heritage as well and will post you as soon as I scan it. I think most suitable thing not to mention heritage, only we know he is Swedish and released all album in Sweden.

Last fm is not reliable right, but how about metallyrica? I know that text is just "copy-paste" text , you can see it everywhere on internet.

Therefor, i removed only first passage where it says: Dahlia’s Tear wurde 2005[1] durch den Schweden türkischer Abstammung Anıl Emre Dedeoğlu in Stockholm gegründet.[1] Zuvor war dieser bereits unter anderem in der türkischen Doom-Metal-Band Dimness Through Infinity[2] und in der Black-Metal-Band Moribund Oblivion aktiv.[1]

And I recommend something like this: Dahlias Tear ist ein musikalisches projekt aus Stockholm, Schweden . Die Musik ist dem Genre Dark Ambient zuzuordnen.

It would be great, if you can scan the article and upload it to a image-hoster or sent me per e-mail! When i have your article i gonna correct the whole article, and try to find other sources then metallyrica, and try to check his heritage and activity in other bands. But for now, please dont revert the article, i would really appreciate that. Regards and bye for now (gonna sleep), --Trollhead 00:29, 9. Dez. 2011 (CET)[Beantworten]
Ok, now i uploaded the new logo and moved the old to the history section. I also searched for interviews with Anil or other good sources. Therefore i found two interviews with a female friend of Anil, who was also featured on Anils CDs as a guest singer, and she said, that Anil played at Dimness Through Infinity. Furthermore, i found sth. like a band description of DtI on Dahlia´s Tear´s old website (dahliastear.free.fr), where Anil itself said, that he was one of the founder of this Band. Therefore, this seems true and proofed. I also found a webzine, which depicts the connection of Dedeoğlu, Dimness Through Infinity and Moribund Oblivion. So are you really shure, that he has not played there ?!?
Of course, I keep on searching, whats about his turkish heritage and i hope you can send me your interview-scan. Regards, --Trollhead 10:59, 9. Dez. 2011 (CET)[Beantworten]
For his activities in MO, see also for example here: [1] --Trollhead 11:10, 9. Dez. 2011 (CET)[Beantworten]
I just found this link: [2] by the question Have you ever thought of adding elements of traditional music from your country? we have a proof, that he is defenitely not from swedish heritage (as you can already obviously see on his turkish name...) maybe i find a statement that will depict him as turkish. --Trollhead 11:10, 9. Dez. 2011 (CET)[Beantworten]

Yes, I sent the interview scan indicating that he has no connection with Moribund Oblivion despite the copy-paste infos on several websites. (nicht signierter Beitrag von Blackenedworld (Diskussion | Beiträge) 21:56, 9. Dez. 2011 (CET)) [Beantworten]

Thanks for the edit just I dont see any point to keep Moribund Oblivion's name still in Wiki page of Dahlia's Tear where there is really no connection. I suggest to delete the name completely. Dahlia's Tear is definitely not related to black metal. By the way source 3 : ↑ RELATED - DIMNESS THROUGH INFINITY, dahliastear.free.fr, abgerufen am 9. Dezember 2011 (englisch) not working anymore. (nicht signierter Beitrag von Blackenedworld (Diskussion | Beiträge) 00:10, 13. Dez. 2011 (CET)) [Beantworten]

It is a widely spread rumour, so the statement that there is no connection is relevant. --217/83 00:29, 13. Dez. 2011 (CET)[Beantworten]

It sounds more like M.O advertisement, I suggest to remove the text about black metal band (nicht signierter Beitrag von Blackenedworld (Diskussion | Beiträge) 00:40, 13. Dez. 2011 (CET)) [Beantworten]

Mentioning a rumour and Dahlia’s Tear’s statement has nothing to do with advertising. --217/83 01:00, 13. Dez. 2011 (CET)[Beantworten]
Exactly! It´s a common mistake, that Anile played ad MO, so its important to explain, that it is not like this. No advertising, just presenting facts. --Trollhead 08:34, 13. Dez. 2011 (CET)[Beantworten]

Because of this kind of sources (and now Wikipedia-DE) does that too, their name will always remain together. If thats wrong then you should now start at least not mentioning it, you already write a wide history, then whats the point of using M.O's name really? Think of your names are always bound with 'X' person and whatever you do still your names together. Respect the artist and at least apart the unnecesary bands. Please. What the heck? Rumours can excellently be spread without this project, obviously, and it is obvious people connect Dahlia’s Tear with Moribund Oblivion; if this article mentions the bands are not connected and sources this statement, it can’t do the bands harm. --217/83 22:58, 13.
