Solzhenitsyn was not a founding member of Memorial[Quelltext bearbeiten]
This is frequently said, and repeated, but it has no foundation in truth.
On the contrary, Solzhenitsyn turned down an invitation to join the organisation, partly because it began by critising only Stalin, not Lenin and the whole Soviet system.
