Die Löschung der Seite „Zimbra“ wurde ab dem 4. Dezember 2008 diskutiert und abgelehnt. Für einen erneuten Löschantrag müssen gemäß den Löschregeln neue Argumente vorgebracht werden.

Lizenzen

Ich hab mir jetzt mal die Mühe gemacht, die Lizenzen unter denen die Software veröffentlicht wurde zu vergleichen, da ZPL und YPL > 1.0 von niemandem geprüft wurden. Ich füge das hier ein, da der Artikel zur YPL wohl demnächst sowieso ein Redirect hierher werden dürfte.

Hier wurde also lediglich Yahoo! durch VMware ersetzt, ebenso die Firmenadresse geändert. Wieder keine signifikante Änderung, was die Einordnung in Open Source oder Freie Software betreffen würde. Ich finde übrigens keinen Hinweis darauf, dass eine der Lizenzen von der Open Source Initiative geprüft und dann abgelehnt wurde. Das hat der YPL-Artikel allerdings bisher behauptet gehabt. Kann das jemand ergänzen? Eine Einordnung der YPL fehlt auch noch, aber da bin ich sowieso gerade dran. Außerdem finde ich, dass das Lizenzmodell hier weiter ausgeführt werden muß. Gemäß [1] stehen verschiedene Versionen unter unterschiedlichen Lizenzen, gleiches gilt für die verschiedenen Module. Die Mozilla Public License und die YPL/ZPL unterscheiden sich deutlich. Man kann wohl kaum davon ausgehen, dass letztere von der MPL abgeleitet wurden. Die Lizenzen entsprechen bis auf den Abschnitt Intellectual Property Rights inhaltlich einer Common Public License ohne Definitionsteil. Einleitungssatz

In der Einleitung steht:

"Die Zimbra Collaboration Suite (ZCS) (oft einfach nur als Zimbra bezeichnet) ist eine E-Mail- und Groupwarelösung von Synacor Inc. Zimbra wird primär über eine Webschnittstelle bedient."

1. Das ist kein richtiger Satz.

2. "wird primär durch eine Webschnittstelle bedient" soll bitte was bedeuten? Soll es heißen "hat eine Webschnittstelle"? aber klarer wäre es damit auch nicht.
Nachbesserungsbedarf.
