PERI 3D Construction (Corporation)

PERI 3D Construction is a provider for 3D construction printers and services with offices in Houston, Texas as well as in Germany and is part of the PERI Group[1][2].

According to the company, its goal is to revolutionize the construction industry and the way buildings are built today. The aim is to combine the experience in the construction industry from the core business (formwork and scaffolding supplier) with the disruptive 3D printing technology to increase productivity in construction.

Founded in 2021 PERI 3D Construction is part of the PERI Group. With sales of $ 1,632 million in 2021, the PERI Group is a manufacturers and supplier of formwork and scaffolding systems operating globally. The family-owned company, with its headquarters in Weissenhorn (Germany) has a workforce of 9,100 employees, 60 subsidiaries and 240 warehouse locations worldwide. The company was founded in 1969 by Artur Schwoerer and his wife Christl Schwörer in Weißenhorn, Germany.[3]

To date, PERI 3D Construction has realized five buildings using the 3D construction printing process:

  • The first printed house in Germany[4]
  • An apartment building[5]
  • A residential building for Habitat for Humanity Arizona (USA)[6]
  • An apartment building extension as well as
  • Austria's first 3D printed building (an office building extension) for the construction company STRABAG[7].

PERI 3D Construction sells COBOD BOD2 3D construction printers but also offers a wide range of services, such as 3D printing execution planning, 3D printing site technichians, setup and removal of the 3D-printer, logistics, 3D-printing demonstrations as well as machine maintenance and spare parts.
