Dina Alekseyevna Averina (russisch Дина Алексеевна Аверина; geboren 13 August 1998)[1] ist eine russische Rhytmische Sport Gymnastin. Ihre eineiige Zwillingsschwester Arina Averina ist auch eine Rhytmische Sport Gymnastin.

Persönliches Leben

Sie ist Tochter von Ksenia Averina und Alexey Averin. Dina und Arina begannen Gymnastik mit vier Jahren. Arina wurde 20 Minuten vor ihrer Schwester Dina geboren. Ihre Schwester Arina hat eine Narbe über ihrem rechtem Auge, diese ist bei einem Unfall mit einer Keule. Sie haben eine ältere Schwester Polina. Dina und Averina teilen sich einem Instagram Account.


Born to parents Ksenia Averina and Alexey Averin, Dina and Arina started gymnastics at four years old. Arina was born 20 minutes ahead of Dina, while both have moles on the upper cheekbone (near the right ear), Dina has it on the lower right compared to Arina's upper right. Her sister Arina has a scar above her right eye, caused after an accident with a club.[2] They have an older sister named Polina. Dina and Arina share the same instagram account.

Junior

Die Averinas wurden von ihrer ersten Trainerin Larisa Belova trainiert bis sie ins russische Nationalteam aufgenommen wurden, dort begannen sie im Olympischen Trainingscentrum in Moskow zu trainieren. Dort werden sie von Vera Shatalina trainiert.

Die Arinas begannen an internationalen Wettbewerben in 2011 teilzunehmen, beginnent mit den russisch-chinesischen Jugend Spielen, dort gewann Dina die Gold Medaille, Arina erreichte den fünften Platz all-around. 2012, wurde Dina vierte bei den rusisschen Junior Meisterschaften.[3] Dina und Arina traten beide bei den Venera Cup in Eilat, Israel, dort gewan Dina all-around Gold, und außerdem Gold beim Reifen und die silber Medaille beim Ball, Keulen und dem Ball.[4] Danach trat sie bei der internationalen MTM Cup in Ljubljana an und gewann mit ihrem Team (Aleksandra Soldatova und Dina Averina) den ersten Platz.


In der Season 2013, gewann Dina Bronze all-around bei den 2013 Russian Junior Championships hinter Aleksandra Soldatova.[5] Sie trat in der Junior Division bei dem Happy Caravan Cup in Tashkent und gewann Gold mit ihrem Team mit Arina Averina. Bei den 2013 Russian Spartakiada's 6th Summer Student Games gewann sie all-around Bronze.[6]

Senior

In der Saison 2014 debütierte Dina bei der 2014 Moscow Grand Prix und nahm an der internationalen Turnierabteilung teil. Dina trat in ihrem ersten Weltcup-Wettbewerb bei der 2014 Lisboa World Cup auf, wo sie hinter Melitina Staniouta die Mehrkampf-Dritte gewann. Im Finale des Events: Sie gewann Silber in den Clubs und Bronze im Band. Vom 23. bis 27. April trat Dina bei den 2014 Russian Championships als Seniorin an, wo sie im Mehrkampf auf Platz 6 kam.

In der Saison 2015 startete Dina ihre Saison bei der 2015 Moskau Grand Prix, dann nahm sie am Corbeil-Essonnes International Rhythmic Gymnastics Tournament teil, wo sie die Mehrkampf-Silbermedaille hinter der Zwillingsschwester Arina Averina gewann, sich für das 4. Finale qualifizierte, Gold im Band (gebunden mit Arina), Silbermedaillen im Reifen, Ball und Platz 6 in den Clubs. Vom 7. bis 9. August trat Dina beim MTK Budapest an und gewann Gold im Mehrkampf, Reifen, Ball, Keulen und Silber im Band. Beim Dundee International Tournament 2015 in Sofia folgte Dina einem weiteren Goldmedaillengewinn im Mehrkampf vor der Zwillingsschwester Arina.

Im Jahr 2016 begann Dina ihre Saison mit der 2016 Grand Prix Moskau und belegte im Mehrkampf Platz 6 und qualifizierte sich für das Reifenfinale.[7] Vom 26. bis 28. Februar nahm Dina am ersten Weltcup der Saison bei der 2016 Espoo World Cup teil und belegte im Mehrkampf Platz 6; sie gewann Bronze im Ball, Platz 4 im Reifen, Clubs und Platz 6 im Band.[8]

Dina startete dann in der A-Nationalmannschaft beim Internationalen Turnier in Lissabon, wo sie das Mehrkampf-Gold und alle Gerätefinals gewann. Bei der 30. Thiais Grand Prix Veranstaltung in Paris wurde Dina im Mehrkampf 9.[9]

Am 1. und 3. April trat Dina bei der 2016 Pesaro World Cup an, wo sie mit insgesamt 73.500 Punkten den fünften Platz im Mehrkampf belegte, sie qualifizierte sich in allen Geräten, nachdem Teamkollegin [[Yana Kudryavtseva] aus dem Finale des Events austrat, Dina gewann Silber in Ball, Band und Bronze in Reifen, Clubs. Dina gewann die Mehrkampf-Bronze bei den Nationalen Meisterschaften der Russischen Rhythmischen Gymnastik|2016 Russische Meisterschaften]] in Sotschi.[10] 

Vom 6. bis 8. Mai startete Dina bei der Brno Grand Prix und holte im Mehrkampf mit 72.850 Punkten Bronze; sie qualifizierte sich für 3 Geräte mit Silber im Reifen, Band und Platz 4 in den Clubs. Vom 13. bis 15. Mai gewann Dina die Mehrkampf-Bronze beim Bukarest Grand Prix mit insgesamt 73.100 Punkten, sie qualifizierte sich für alle Gerätefinals: Silber in den Clubs hinter Salome Pazhava, Bronze im Reifen, Ball (gebunden mit Katsiaryna Halkina) und Platz 7 im Band. Vom 27. bis 29. Mai belegte Dina im Mehrkampf bei der 2016 Sofia World Cup mit insgesamt 72.900 Punkten den 5. Platz, im Reifenfinale qualifizierte sie sich auf Platz 4 hinter Schwester Arina Averina. Vom 1. bis 3. Juli nahm Dina an der 2016 Berlin World Cup teil, wo sie die Mehrkampf-Goldmedaille mit insgesamt 74.050 Punkten gewann, sie qualifizierte sich für alle Geräte, die Gold in Ball, Band, Platz 4 in Hoop und Platz 8 in Clubs erhielten.[11] On September 22–24, Dina competed at the 2016 Grand Prix Final in Eilat, Israel where she won the all-around bronze medal with a new personal best total of 74.450 points, she qualified in 2 apparatus finals taking silver medal in ball and placed 5th in clubs.

In 2017, Dina's season began in competition at the 2017 Grand Prix Moscow where she won the all-around gold medal with a new personal best total score of 76.050 points, she qualified to all the apparatus finals taking gold in hoop, clubs, ribbon and a silver medal in ball behind Aleksandra Soldatova.[12] Dina then participated in the organized Desio-Italia Trophy where she won the All-around and team gold medal (together with Twin Sister Arina). On March 10–12, Dina became the All-around champion at the 2017 Russian Championships ahead of defending champion Aleksandra Soldatova who finished in 2nd place respectively.[13] On March 24–26, Dina then competed at the Thiais Grand Prix where she won the all-around gold with a total of 74.500 points, she qualified to all the event finals taking gold in hoop, ball, clubs and silver in ribbon.[14] On April 7–9, Dina competed in the first World Cup of the season at the 2017 Pesaro World Cup where she won silver in the all-around behind teammate Aleksandra Soldatova, she qualified to all the apparatus finals winning 3 gold medals in ball, clubs, ribbon and a silver in hoop. Her next event was at the 2017 Tashkent World Cup where Dina won gold in the all-around ahead of sister Arina Averina, she qualified to all the apparatus finals taking gold in clubs, and 3 silver medals in ball, hoop and ribbon. On May 19–21, at the 2017 European Championships in Budapest, Hungary, Dina was member of the Golden winning Russian Team (together with senior individuals: twin sister Arina Averina, Aleksandra Soldatova and the junior group) scoring a total of 182.175 points which was more than 11 points ahead of their nearest competitor team Belarus. Dina qualified to 3 apparatus finals taking 2 gold medals in hoop, ribbon and a silver medal in clubs behind Arina Averina.[15] In June 23–26, Dina then competed at the 2017 Holon Grand Prix taking silver in the all-around behind Arina, she qualified 3 apparatus finals winning gold in ball, silver in clubs and placed 6th in hoop. At the quadrennial 2017 World Games which was held in Wrocław, Poland from July 20–30, Dina won the gold medal in clubs and three silver medals in hoop, ball, ribbon.[16][17] On August 11–13, Dina competed at the 2017 Kazan World Challenge Cup and won the all-around gold medal edging out sister Arina who won the silver medal, Dina qualified in all the apparatus finals and won 2 gold medals in hoop, clubs, a silver in ribbon and finished 8th in ball.[18] At the 2017 World Championships held on August 30 - September 3 in Pesaro, Italy, in the first day of the apparatus finals; Dina won gold in hoop (19.100) and silver in ball (18.700).[2] The following day, she won another gold in clubs (19.000) and silver in ribbon (17.200).[19] During the individual all-around finals, she accumulated scores in (hoop:18.850, ball:18.550, clubs:18.850, ribbon:18.450) scoring a total of 74.700 points to become the new All-around Champion edging out twin sister Arina Averina who took the silver medal respectively.[20]

In 2018, Dina's season began in competition at the 2018 Grand Prix Moscow, where she won the all-around gold, she qualified to 3 appartus finals taking gold with hoop, clubs and silver with ball. On March March 24–25, Dina took gold in the all-around at the 2018 Thiais Grand Prix; she qualified in 3 apparatus finals where she won gold in ball, ribbon and silver in clubs. On April 13–15; Dina then competed at the 2018 Pesaro World Cup winning gold in the all-around, in the event finals: she won gold in ball, ribbon, a silver in hoop and placed 4th in clubs.

Dina is known for her fast routines and dynamic apparatus handling. She has maintained a Difficulty value of 10 which was scored in her clubs routine - The last rhythmic gymnast to score a 10 in Difficulty was Evgenia Kanaeva. (10 is the base value for the highest D mark; although the New 2017-2020 Code of Points, 10 Difficulties is no longer on judge's score sheets and thus can be open ended, a gymnast can increase as many D elements to maximize Difficulty; so by the end of the program - a gymnast can get full credit for all the performed difficulties; a full base value 10, regardless if the difficulty is higher than the actual base value of 10).
