Willkommen in Gravity Falls (Originaltitel: Gravity Falls) ist eine US-amerikanische Zeichentrickserie, die seit 2012 von Disney Television Animation produziert wird. Die Serie wurde von Alex Hirsch entwickelt, der zuvor schon an den Zeichentrickserien The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack und Der Fisch-Club beteiligt war. Die erste Folge wurde als Preview am 15. Juni 2012 gezeigt. Die reguläre Ausstrahlung erfolgte ab 29. Juni 2012 auf dem US-amerikanischen Disney Channel. Am 29. Juli 2013 wurde die Serie offiziell für eine zweite Staffel verlängert.

Inhalt

Die 12-jährigen Zwillinge Dipper und Mabel werden nach Gravity Falls geschickt, um dort die Sommerferien bei ihrem Großonkel (Gronkel) Stan zu verbringen, der ein bizarres Museum, die „Mystery Shack“, besitzt. Schon bei ihrer Ankunft merken die Zwillinge, dass Gravity Falls kein gewöhnlicher Ort ist, denn sie begegnen immer wieder merkwürdigen Wesen, wodurch sich der Sommer für Dipper und Mabel als ein großes Abenteuer entpuppt.

Charaktere

Dipper Pines
Ist der 12-jährige Zwillingsbruder von Mabel. Er ist sehr intelligent und immer auf der Suche nach neuen Rätseln, die er auf erfinderische Weise löst.
Mabel Pines
Ist die 12-jährige Zwillingsschwester von Dipper. Sie ist eine exzentrische, lebhafte und energische Optimistin allerdings nicht so schlau wie Dipper. Ihre aufgeschlossene, neugierige Persönlichkeit hilft Dipper oftmals, Rätsel zu lösen, obwohl er ihre Albernheit eher als Belastung empfindet. Außerdem mag sie besonders Romane, in denen Vampire vorkommen.
Großonkel (Gronkel) Stan
Ist der verrückte Großonkel von Dipper und Mabel. Er lebt im "Mystery Shack", einer Touristenfalle, die er den Touristen als „weltweit bizarrstes Museum“ vorstellt. In erster Linie ist er Verkäufer und seine Methoden, Geld zu verdienen, scheinen nicht immer legal zu sein.
Wendy
Ist ein 15- jähriges Mädchen und Teilzeitmitarbeiterin in der "Mystery Shack". Dipper ist verknallt in sie und scheiterte bisher immer mit seinen Versuchen sie zu beeindrucken. Ihr Vater ist Mannsbild Dan, der Holzfäller von Gravity Falls.
Soos
Ist der Handwerker im "Mystery Shack" und außerdem ein Freund von Dipper und Mabel. Er ist ziemlich ungeschickt, nicht sehr schlau und macht oft Fehler, dennoch hat er viele Talente, darunter DJ-ing und Flipper. Er und Dipper verbringen die Zeit oft damit, alberne Dinge zu tun, wie zum Beispiel einen Hot Dog in der Mikrowelle zu erhitzen bis dieser explodiert.
Robbie V.
Ist ein Teenager in Gravity Falls, er ist mit Wendy zusammen, weshalb Dipper ihn nicht ausstehen kann, er hat eine eigene Band und trägt oft eine Gitarre mit sich rum. Er war es, der die riesige Explosion auf den Wasserturm gesprayt hat.
