Fit, es ging ja nicht um das Ändern einer "stabilen Version". Sondern um das Einfügen einer neuen Entwicklung (Abmahnung von Cheney und Kinzinger durch GOP-Vorstand). Eine sehr seltene Massnahme, die vorallem noch nie gegen zwei gewählte Abgeordnete auf Bundesebene angewendet wurde. Der Punkt des Disputs war, dass LennBr nur das Handeln des GOP-Vorstsandes drin haben wollte, was aber einseitig gewesen wäre, wenn nicht auch die Reaktion der Betroffenen (immerhin die bekanntesten Gesichter der Minderheit, die sich gegen den Führerkult rund um Trump in der GOP stemmt). Ebenso ist es wichtig zu zeigen, mit welcher Hektik dieses dann auch noch schlecht formulierte Papier im GOP-Vorstand gedraftet und durchgewunken wurde. Die Aussagen zum gewaltsamen Sturm auf das Capitol in dem Dokument sind - gelinde gesprochen - enttarnend und wurden auch umgehend breit entsprechend kommentiert. Also, es ging nicht um das Ändern einer "stabilen Version", sondern um das vollständige Einfügen einer wichtigen Information in den Artikel. --Jens Best 💬 17:33, 14. Feb. 2022 (CET)

Doch, es ging bei diesem Edit um das ändern einer stabilen Version, den das Einfügen von neuen Inhalten ist eine Form der Änderung einer stabilen bzw. vorher schon existierenden Version. Wenn es gegen dieses Einfügen oder gegen einen Teil davon Widerspruch gibt, dann muß man zunächst einen Konsens erzielen, bevor diese Änderung zur neuen stabilen Version wird. Welcher Umfang inhaltlich angemessen ist, um die Abmahnung zweier hochrangiger Parteimitglieder angemessen, aber dennoch vollständig im Artikel darzustellen, das ist eine andere Frage, um die es bei der Sperrprüfung nicht ging, denn das ist auf der Artikel-DS zu klären.
