Im Folgenden die größten globalen Full-Service Investment-Banken; Full-Service Investment bedeutet normalerweise sowohl beratende und operative Dienste als auch Verkauf und Entwicklung einer breiten Palette von finanziellen Produkten z.B. Wertpapiere, Kredite, Währungen, Rohstoffe und ihre Derivate.

Finanz-Konglomerate

Große Finanzdiestleistungs-Konglomerate vereinigen Commercial Banking und Investment Banking manchmal auch Versicherung. Solche Kombinationen sind in Europa erlaubt, in USA sind sie laut erstem Absatz des Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act von 1999 illegal. Die folgenden sind Unternehmen, die Investment-Banking betreiben und großen Finanzinstituten angeschlossen sind (oben nicht genannt).
