Exelon Corporation (Exelon) ist ein großer US-amerikanischer Energieversorger mit Hauptsitz in Chicago. Das Unternehmen ist im Aktienindex S&P 500 und im Dow Jones Utility Average gelistet. Das Unternehmen entstand im Oktober 2000 durch die Fusion der Unternehmen PECO Energy Company aus Philadelphia und Unicom aus Chicago (welches Commonwealth Edison gehörte). Exelon hat 5.2 Millionen Kunden der Energieversorgung mit Strom und in Philadelphia 460.000 Kunden der Energieversorgung mit Gas. Im Juni 2005 besaß Exelon Anteile an 19 Kernkraftreaktoren in 11 Kernkraftwerken. Die am 30. Juni 2005 begonnene Fusion von Exelon mit dem Unternehmen Public Service Electric and Gas Company aus New Jersey scheiterte.

Im April 2011 kauft Exelon das US-amerikanische Unternehmen Constellation Energy.
